Daegu FC arrive with three wins from their last four league matches, but the home split is the more relevant angle for this one: two wins from two at their own ground and five goals scored in those games. Seoul E-Land’s away numbers are thinner, yet they have still scored in both away league fixtures listed, and the xG projection leans toward a lively contest rather than a cagey one.

The goals trend is also encouraging for an over. Daegu have gone over 2.5 goals in four of their last five, while five of their last six league matches have finished with both teams scoring. Seoul E-Land’s recent line is more mixed, but their away visits have produced one goal and two goals in the league sample, which still leaves room for Daegu to drag the match above the line.

There is a small tension with the head-to-head record, though. Seven of the last eight meetings finished under 2.5 goals, so the historical matchup has often been tighter than the recent Daegu and Seoul E-Land scoring patterns suggest. Even so, Daegu’s home games and Seoul E-Land’s away defending point more toward open spells than the old H2H trend alone would imply.

Seoul E-Land’s 0-0 draw at Cheonan City on 21 March came after a second-yellow red card late on, and that result does not give much confidence in their attack travelling well. Daegu, meanwhile, have scored in every league match listed this season and conceded in three of their four K-League 2 outings, which keeps the game tilted toward goals rather than control. The projected 1.0 to 2.2 xG split also fits a match where both sides can contribute.

My prediction is Over 2.5 Goals at 4/5. Daegu’s last four league matches have already produced three games with three goals or more, their home record includes five goals in two matches, and Seoul E-Land have scored in both away league fixtures shown. The only real caution is the strong under 2.5 head-to-head trend, but the current form and xG lean are stronger than that older pattern.
