Alanyaspor — Last 6 matches
Trabzonspor — Last 6 matches

Alanyaspor host Trabzonspor in the Trendyol Süper Lig on Saturday evening, 11 April 2026, with the two sides arriving from very different places in the table but both still carrying proper incentive. Alanyaspor sit 11th on 32 points, steady enough to have space between themselves and the danger zone, yet not comfortable enough to switch off. Trabzonspor are up in third on 63 points and still pushing the chase at the top. Every point matters from here, and for Fatih Tekke’s side there’s no hiding from the fact that dropping momentum now could cost them a serious say in the title race.

There’s also a clear contrast in the mood around both camps. João Pereira’s Alanyaspor have been awkward to beat, but they’re still living in that middle ground where good performances haven’t quite turned into a decisive climb. Trabzonspor, by contrast, have looked like a team with direction. They come into this one on a long unbeaten run, their away record is the best in the division, and they’ve been finding ways to win games that don’t always flatter them. That’s the sign of a side with proper ambition.

Alanyaspor Form & Analysis

Alanyaspor’s recent run has had a bit of everything. They went to Gaziantep FK on 4 April and came away with a 1-1 draw, which was a fair reflection of a tight game in which they never really looked overwhelmed. Before that came the eye-catching 5-0 home win over Kocaelispor on 18 March, the sort of result that can sharpen belief in a hurry. Sandwiched around it were two more draws, 2-2 away at Göztepe and 0-0 at home to Gençlerbirliği, and that tells you plenty about this team. They’re not easy to shake, but they don’t always put sides away either. That’s the theme.

There was also the 1-2 home defeat to Galatasaray in the cup on 3 March, along with the 3-1 league loss at Galatasaray the week before. Those two matches hinted at the problem Alanyaspor still face against stronger opposition: they can compete, sometimes for long spells, but their margin for error is thin. The recent 1-1 at Gaziantep, with Ibrahim Kaya and Kacper Kozłowski on the scoresheet, was another example of a team doing enough to stay in the contest. Their last six league and cup outings have included plenty of resilience, but only one win. One win. That’s not a disaster. It’s not exactly the form of a side you’d trust without hesitation either.

At home this season, though, Alanyaspor have been respectable enough. Their record at their own ground stands at five wins, four draws and five defeats, with 17 goals scored and 12 conceded. That’s not elite, but it’s solid, and the defensive number stands out more than the attacking one. They’re usually competitive in Alanya. The issue is that when they face the better travelling teams, the game can tilt away from them before they’ve fully settled. With 34 goals scored and 33 conceded overall, they’re a side living close to the line in most matches. You rarely get a dull Alanyaspor game for very long. The question is whether they can make that chaos work for them here.

Trabzonspor Form & Analysis

Trabzonspor arrive in far stronger shape. Their last six matches have been a proper statement: six wins from six, and not the soft kind either. They beat Galatasaray 2-1 at home on 4 April, a result that carries weight no matter the season. Before that they edged Eyüpspor 1-0 away, then saw off Çaykur Rizespor 1-0 at home and won 3-1 away at Kayserispor. There was also the cup win at Başakşehir FK, a 4-2 result that showed they can still hit teams when the game opens up. Go back a little further and you find the 3-1 home win over Fatih Karagümrük. That’s a serious sequence. No slack in it.

What stands out most is how they’re winning in different ways. Sometimes it’s a controlled, narrow affair like the 1-0 at Eyüpspor or the 1-0 against Çaykur Rizespor. Sometimes it’s a more open scrap, like the 3-1 at Kayserispor or the 2-1 over Galatasaray. Fatih Tekke has a side that doesn’t need to play the same way every week to get the job done. They’ve got 55 league goals and just 30 conceded, which is the sort of balance that keeps you in the top end of the table. Better still, they don’t fade away in away fixtures.

Their away record is the best in the league: 10 wins, two draws and two defeats, with 28 scored and 17 conceded. That’s elite. Simple as that. They go on the road and behave like a team that expects to control the result, not merely chase one. There’s a bit of streak power too. They’re unbeaten in seven and have won their last match, which sounds almost routine until you remember how hard that is to sustain in a league this competitive. The only slight wrinkle is that they aren’t always watertight away from home, and the 17 goals conceded on the road shows that opponents do get chances. Still, if you’re looking for the stronger, more dependable side here, Trabzonspor are it.

Head-to-Head

Recent meetings between these two have produced plenty of noise. The pattern isn’t hard to spot. Goals have tended to arrive, and both teams have had their moments. Trabzonspor beat Alanyaspor 4-3 in April 2025, a game that got away from both defences, while Alanyaspor responded with a 2-1 home win in November 2024 and a 3-1 success back in March 2024. That’s a pretty lively stretch, and it tells you these fixtures rarely settle into a dull, controlled rhythm for long.

The more recent two meetings also tilt the story in a different direction. Alanyaspor won 1-0 away in the cup on 17 December 2025, and the league meeting at Trabzonspor in November finished 1-1. So while Trabzonspor have had the better season overall, Alanyaspor have shown they can frustrate them and nick results. Mind you, that doesn’t erase the bigger trend. These games have been open, and they’ve usually produced chances at both ends. You don’t need much imagination to see goals here again.

We Predict: Over 2.5 Goals

We’re backing Over 2.5 Goals at 5/6 for this one. That price has real appeal. Trabzonspor’s away games have been productive, Alanyaspor have scored in enough of their recent outings to be trusted for at least one goal, and the head-to-head record has leaned heavily towards matches with plenty of action. The 8/10 trend for over 2.5 goals in this fixture is hard to ignore too. It’s the sort of pattern you don’t casually brush aside.

The projected 1-2 scoreline fits the shape of the contest. Trabzonspor have more firepower, more consistency, and the stronger away record, but Alanyaspor are capable of landing a punch at home, especially with the kind of recent resilience they’ve shown. That should be enough to keep this lively. If you want a secondary angle, Trabzonspor to score first looks live as well, though the total goals market is the cleaner play. This one should have enough going on to land.
