Kasımpaşa — Last 6 matches
Alanyaspor — Last 6 matches

Kasımpaşa host Alanyaspor in the Trendyol Süper Lig on Sunday afternoon, 19 April 2026, with both clubs stuck in that awkward middle ground of the table where comfort and worry sit side by side. Kasımpaşa are 13th on 28 points, Alanyaspor are just above them in 12th on 33. That gap is not huge, but it matters. A home win would drag Emre Belözoğlu’s side much closer to the safety of mid-table. Alanyaspor, under João Pereira, can create a little daylight and keep their season from sliding into a dull, anxious run-in.

There’s also a pattern here that’s hard to ignore. These two have met plenty of times, and Kasımpaşa have had the upper hand far more often than not. The meetings have generally been lively too. Goals, goals, goals. That won’t surprise anyone who’s watched either side recently. Kasımpaşa have been entertaining in a chaotic way, while Alanyaspor have become the league’s great draw merchants, stubborn enough to stay afloat but rarely ruthless enough to pull away.

Kasımpaşa Form & Analysis

Kasımpaşa come into this one after a wild 3-3 draw away at Göztepe on 12 April, and that result summed them up neatly. They were open, they were vulnerable, and they still found ways to hurt the opposition. Juan Santos da Silva opened the scoring, Mortadha Ben Ouanes added another before half-time, and Adrian Benedyczak made it 3-1 early in the second half. Then the game spun out of control. A Filip Krastev own goal, a Jeh penalty and a late Malcom Bokele equaliser dragged them back into the kind of match that never really felt finished. It never does with Kasımpaşa.

Before that, they had beaten Kayserispor 2-0 at home on 4 April and Eyüpspor 1-0 on 15 March, both solid enough, both the kind of wins that suggest they can still control a game when they’re on their mettle. But the rest of the recent picture has been messy. They lost 2-1 away to Beşiktaş on 19 March, drew 1-1 at Konyaspor on 8 March and were thumped 3-0 at home by Çaykur Rizespor on 28 February. So it’s been a bit of everything: tidy at times, reckless at others. Three of their last six have gone without defeat. That’s decent. It’s also never quite calm.

At home, Kasımpaşa’s record is bluntly underwhelming. Three wins, five draws and six defeats from 14 league matches at their own ground, with just 12 goals scored and 18 conceded. That’s the story right there. They don’t turn home advantage into control often enough, and they certainly don’t shut games down. Still, the numbers aren’t all bleak. They’ve shown enough recent cutting edge to suggest they can score against most sides in this section of the table, and the fact they’ve scored in four of their last five league matches says plenty about their attacking floor. The problem is the roof leaks. Badly.

Emre Belözoğlu’s side are also a team that can be dragged into a scrap by the first goal. They’ve been first to concede too often for comfort, and once they start chasing, the shape can go. That’s exactly why this fixture feels live for both teams scoring. Kasımpaşa will have chances. The question is whether they can defend the moments they don’t control. Usually, the answer’s no.

Alanyaspor Form & Analysis

Alanyaspor’s recent league form looks tidier on paper, even if it hasn’t always felt convincing. They drew 1-1 with Trabzonspor at home on 11 April, and that followed another 1-1 away at Gaziantep FK on 4 April. Before that came a statement 5-0 home win over Kocaelispor on 18 March, which looked like a proper lift at the time. Since then, though, they’ve slipped back into the sort of rhythm that keeps them safe but not exactly ambitious. In the three league games before the Trabzonspor draw, they’d already shared the points with Göztepe away and Gençlerbirliği at home, while a Turkey Cup group-stage loss to Galatasaray was the only defeat in that broader stretch.

João Pereira has at least made them hard to beat. Five league matches without a loss is a strong run, even if it’s been built on draws rather than domination. That’s the key detail. Alanyaspor don’t get rolled over, and they don’t often fold away from home, but they also don’t finish people off. Their away record tells the same story: just one win, 10 draws and three losses from 14 league trips, with 17 scored and 21 conceded. Only one away victory all season is a problem. A big one. You’re not supposed to go through that many road games and leave with just a single win if you’re remotely comfortable.

Still, Alanyaspor do carry a certain threat. Thirty-five league goals is a healthy total, and even in games where they’re not especially dominant, they tend to find a way onto the scoresheet. The 1-1 at Gaziantep and the 2-2 at Göztepe were classic examples: not enough control, but enough punch to stay in it. Their recent xG figures have been modest, especially in the goalless-looking spells, yet the sheer frequency with which they’ve scored away from home means they remain a nuisance. You wouldn’t trust them to blow Kasımpaşa away. You would expect them to nick something if the hosts lose their discipline again.

And that’s the awkward part for Belözoğlu’s side. Alanyaspor don’t need to be brilliant to be dangerous. They just need the game to stay open.

Head-to-Head

This is one of those pairings where the recent history leans clearly one way, but the scorelines keep it honest. Kasımpaşa have won four of the last eight meetings and haven’t lost any of them. The most recent clash, in Alanya on 23 November 2025, ended 2-1 to Kasımpaşa. Before that came a 2-1 home win in March 2025, another 2-1 away success in October 2024, and a 2-1 home result back in February 2024. That’s a pretty consistent pattern. Kasımpaşa have had Alanyaspor’s number.

The goals usually arrive too. These games haven’t been cagey. Far from it. The sides have played out a 3-3 draw, a 4-1 Kasımpaşa win and a 3-1 away win in the past few seasons, and both teams have found the net in every one of the last eight meetings listed. That streak matters here. It’s difficult to look at this fixture and not think BTTS. The history is shouting it.

We Predict: Both Teams To Score

We are backing Both Teams To Score at 5/6 for this one, and it feels like the cleanest angle on the board. Kasımpaşa have scored in their recent games, but they’ve also given up chances by the bucketload. Alanyaspor, for their part, have turned into a side that almost always finds a reply, especially away from home, where they’ve netted 17 times already despite winning only once.

The head-to-head only strengthens the case. Eight straight meetings with both teams scoring is a serious trend, not a fluke. Add in Kasımpaşa’s shaky home defence and Alanyaspor’s habit of drawing on the road, and a 1-1 scoreline looks the most natural call. That fits the xG projection too, with both sides around the 1.0 mark. If you want a slight tweak, over 2.5 goals has real appeal in this fixture, but BTTS is the sharper pick. 1-1 feels right. Maybe a little more chaos if Kasımpaşa get dragged into another open game.
