Bahlinger SC come into this one stuck in a difficult spell, with no win in eleven league matches and only four points from their last six outings. Their home record is also poor, with just one home win all season and five draws already at this ground, so they have not been turning Bahlinger into a place where visitors are regularly denied.
KSV Hessen Kassel look much steadier in the table and in recent results, sitting ninth with 38 points and having picked up two wins and a draw in their last three league games. Away from home they have taken four wins already, while their 19 goals scored on the road is a healthier return than Bahlinger’s 15 at home, which gives them the stronger profile for taking three points.
The scoring patterns also lean Kassel’s way. Bahlinger have conceded 58 league goals in 26 matches and have failed to keep a clean sheet in the last two meetings between the sides at home, while the reverse fixture in October finished 2-2. Kassel have scored in five of their last seven league matches, and Bahlinger have both scored and conceded in four of their last five, so a tight away win with goals at both ends remains a live outcome despite the tension of Kassel’s recent 1-1 draw with SGV Freiberg.
There is a little caution in Kassel’s recent away scoring, though, because their last two trips brought a 1-0 win at Stuttgarter Kickers and a 1-0 defeat at SG Sonnenhof Großaspach. Even so, Bahlinger’s long winless run and weak home return leave them needing a clear lift to resist a side that has handled more difficult league fixtures better over the season.
My prediction is Away Win at 4/6. Bahlinger have gone eleven league games without a victory, they have only one home win all season, and Kassel have four away wins with a better overall goal record. The head-to-head record also gives Kassel a useful edge, including a 2-0 win in April 2025 and a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture, which still fits an away victory more than a home upset.
