GKS Tychy need goals far more than they need control, and their recent league games have usually supplied them. Four of their last six I liga matches have finished with at least three goals, including the 2-4 loss to Śląsk Wrocław and the 1-2 defeat to Puszcza Niepołomice, while the 1-1 draw at Polonia Bytom was another open enough contest. They have also gone seven league games without a win, so a cautious shut-down approach has not really been there.
Znicz Pruszków have been even easier to read in that respect, because their recent results have regularly turned into end-to-end games. Three of their last four league fixtures have gone over 2.5 goals, with 2-3 defeats to Stal Rzeszów and OKS Odra Opole and a 1-0 loss at Pogoń Siedlce sitting alongside the 1-1 draw at Wisła Kraków. Their away record is not elite, but 10 goals scored and 19 conceded on the road points to matches that can open up.
The head-to-head also leans toward a higher total rather than a tight contest. Five of the last six meetings between these sides have produced more than 2.5 goals, and GKS Tychy have now gone seven meetings without keeping a clean sheet against Znicz. That fits the wider league numbers too, with home games in this division averaging 1.52 goals for the hosts and away games 1.30 for the visitors, so the baseline is not especially low.
There is one small caveat: GKS Tychy’s latest draw at Polonia Bytom was only 1-1, and their home record is still poor, so a flat performance from either side could drag the total back. Even so, Tychy’s home matches have yielded 49 goals across 13 outings, while Znicz’s away games have produced 29 goals in 15, which is enough to keep an over in play. The xG projection of 1.1 for GKS and 1.6 for Znicz also points to chances at both ends, even if the exact 1-2 scoreline is not essential.
My prediction is Over 2.5 Goals at 17/20. Both teams have been involved in plenty of high-scoring league matches lately, five of the last six head-to-heads have cleared this line, and neither defence has offered much reassurance. GKS have conceded in seven straight league games without a win, while Znicz have shipped at least two in three of their last four.
